These photos of a house in Mili show many of the stages of construction right from the very beginning, commencing with marking out the land. The photos at the end show another house that we also built next door.

This is a small house - about 75m² - with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The owners designed the layout of the house to take advantage of the views in two directions - towards Gourna bay in the North and to Lakki bay in the South.

In an exposed location, such as this, the benefits of good insulation are apparent. The owners wanted to make the house look like a traditional, rural house. We recommended double-glazed uPVC windows rather than single-glazed wooden ones and the owners are very happy with the outcome.
